Meetings

Meetings are held on Tuesday evenings. Meetings commence at 7:00 p.m. and generally conclude at about 9:00 p.m.

Meetings commence with club administration. A moderated question-and-answer session follows at which computer-related problems affected members are answered and any other information which may be of interest to members passed on. The meeting concludes with a presentation lasting about 30 minutes. Anyone is free to give a presentation.

Tea and coffee are provided. Please bring your own mug.

The NQMUG Annual General Meeting and Christmas party is held on a Sunday in December. The AGM starts at Midday and is held in the beer garden of the West End Hotel.

Workshops

Workshops are also held on Tuesday evenings. Workshops commence at 6:00 p.m. and generally conclude at about 9:00 p.m.

Workshops are essentially long question-and-answer sessions covering topics and solving problems that are too extensive to cover at a meeting. Members should bring their Macs as this ensures that you can save files generated during the workshop on your own machine.

The school is bounded by Charters Towers Road, Bayswater Road and Crowle Street. Parking is available in Crowle Street and in the RSL car park closest to the St Margret Mary's College buildings.
